The Active Travel School Scheme is part of Cardiff City Council and is supporting schools to explore alternatives to car travel for the school journey. Cardiff Council is the Data Controller for the purpose of the information collected.

Active Travel Schools collects the following personal data:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your video recording
This is collected for the purpose of communicating with you regarding your video recording and publishing your video on our website and Twitter account.

You directly provide Active Travel Schools with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you email us your video submission

Active Travel Schools collects your data so that we can:
- Communicate with you via email regarding your video submission
- Create an active travel video for our website and Twitter account

How do we store your data?
Active Travel Schools securely stores your data on our email server at travelplans@cardiff.gov.uk
Active Travel Schools will retain your emails for 2 months, during which we will use your submission to create a video collage. Following the upload of your video and the end of this period, your emails will be securely deleted.
Video submissions will be kept on keepingcardiffmoving.co.uk for a period of 2 years.
